This is a tiny motor you can extract from Mac floppy drives made by Mitsubishi. It's not as efficient as the Nihon motor, but about as small as a "sub-micro" servo (and much less troublesome). I'd be a big fan of these if they were easier to find.

Note that Omron also made some very similar motors; I have yet to test one of them...

To the right I've got a picture of one (sitting on a mirror, for a bit better view), courtesy of Spudnuty. You'll note that this differs in a few details from my drawing; I suspect a few details in the plastic changed from year to year to keep track with changes in the floppy drive design.
