BEAM Parts The smallest little things that make up a BEAMbot BEAMbots are built up from lots of little pieces. For the sake of getting a handle on all the things that (can) go into a BEAM robot, I've lumped them into three rough categories: Electrical parts Resistors, capacitors, batteries, etc. Mechanical parts Gears and motors Miscellaneous Odds & ends that play supporting roles Obviously, there's a fair amount of overlap in these categories, so I've attempted to put things in the category that best describe their desired output (so, for instance, motors are listed under Mechanical rather than Electrical parts).
