Crawlers
They're propelled by tracks, or by arching the body in a crawling motion

Crawlers, as the name suggests, propel themselves in a crawling fashion such that no moving body part slides against the ground while it's in contact with the ground. To date, they come in three sub-types:

Turbots

"Tumble" while they move, through the use of arms or flagella.

Inchworms

Propel themselves by setting up a "wave" through their body; this wave selectively moves part of the body forward, while keeping the rest of the body on the ground.

Tracked robots

Propelled by tracks which move with respect to the rest of the body, in a tank-like fashion.
